Firm believer in Dr. Howard Gardner’s theory of Multiple Intelligences, which encourages the understanding that each person has their own unique learning style. Always keen to explore new ways of reaching every student. Online learning can be combined with in person tuition, the approach being tailored to the needs of the learner. Lessons are always planned with as many varied approaches to a subject as possible (words, sounds, music, pictures, video, personal experience, discussions, etc.) in order to make the concepts accessible to all.
In all ways, curriculum should be geared towards creating a thirst for knowledge in life-long learners. Rather than teaching to the test.
