About Jonny
I am a qualified high school teacher, having studied English and History at the University of Cape Town. In undergrad, I also majored in Psychology. In light of this, I have a love for interacting with people and having engaging conversations.
I am also a photographer, with over 5 years experience working as a lifestyle and advertising photographer. I am open to teaching on photography technicalities, pitching projects and even planning your own shoots.

My teaching style is very engaged and hands-on, since I believe that teaching photography requires a highly practical approach. I welcome failure and figuring things out as we go, creating a stress-free and fun environment in which to learn.
Think of it as a content download in a very low-stakes environment.
I would like to give an affordable option to those who would like to deepen their understanding and skill with regards to photography and storytelling.
