About Leo
I am a 3rd year BSc Honours Physics student at McGill University with a passion for learning and teaching. Having studied in engineering, I have a strong interest in the many applications of physics and mathematics to the real-world, and the connectedness of these topics with other natural sciences.
I spent my last few summers working for non-profit engineering firms and university research groups, where I developed a passion for research.
I have experience tutoring at both the high-school and undergraduate levels.

My teaching methods focus on developing a thinking framework that can be applied to problem solving beyond the scope of physics and math. I approach this by relating the subject's applications to the tutee's personal interests, helping them gain a strong intuition and in turn, a deeper understanding of the material. Therefore, my lessons are problem-based, with a good amount of discussion. My ultimate goal is to grow the tutee's confidence and interest in the matter at hand.
