About Gillian
My journey in physics began with curiosity about how natural laws explain the world around us. I completed a Master’s Degree in Physics, where I developed strong conceptual and analytical skills. Over the past 8 years, I have worked with students from different academic backgrounds, helping them improve their understanding of physics and build confidence in problem solving. Teaching allows me to make complex scientific concepts easier to understand and more interesting for learners.
My teaching style is structured, supportive, and adaptable. I understand that students learn differently, so I adjust my methods according to their learning pace and goals. I focus on building strong conceptual understanding, improving analytical skills, and encouraging regular practice. I also create a comfortable environment where students feel free to ask questions and explore scientific ideas confidently. This helps them stay motivated and engaged in learning.
Outside teaching, I continue reading about scientific developments and exploring new educational methods to improve my teaching strategies. This helps me keep my lessons updated and relevant. Teaching physics is meaningful to me because I see students grow in confidence and scientific understanding. Helping them improve academic performance, strengthen analytical thinking, and develop curiosity about science is something I truly value, and I remain committed to supporting their long-term educational success and personal growth.

My physics lessons are designed to make scientific concepts clear, practical, and easy to understand for every student. I guide learners through topics such as mechanics, motion, force, electricity, magnetism, waves, and thermodynamics using step-by-step explanations and real-world examples. I focus on helping students understand the reasoning behind formulas and physical laws rather than memorizing them. Each lesson includes conceptual discussions, numerical problem solving, and practical applications that help students build confidence and understanding gradually.
Lessons are structured according to the student’s level and pace of learning. Beginners start with basic scientific concepts and simple numerical problems to develop a strong foundation. Intermediate learners focus on formula application, analytical thinking, and improving problem-solving accuracy. Advanced students work on complex calculations, scientific reasoning, and exam preparation strategies. I provide regular practice assignments, corrections, and revision sessions to ensure continuous progress and deeper understanding.
Physics also helps students develop logical reasoning, curiosity, and analytical thinking skills. As students begin understanding how scientific principles explain everyday phenomena, they gain confidence and interest in science. Many students who initially found physics difficult begin to enjoy the subject once they understand its practical applications. My goal is to make physics engaging, meaningful, and practical. I want students to feel confident in understanding scientific principles, solving numerical problems accurately, and building a strong academic foundation that supports future studies and real-world scientific understanding.
