About Lena
My fascination with physics started in school when I was captivated by motion, energy, and the hidden laws of nature. This interest led me to pursue a Master’s in Applied Physics, where I deepened my understanding of mechanics, electromagnetism, and experimental design. Over the past 8 years, I have guided students at multiple levels, helping beginners develop a solid foundation and advanced learners refine analytical and experimental skills. My teaching emphasizes clarity, patience, and practical application, turning complex topics into approachable, engaging concepts that build confidence.
I structure lessons according to each student’s level and learning style. Beginners explore basic laws, simple experiments, and conceptual thinking. Intermediate learners focus on multi-step calculations, practical experiments, and pattern recognition. Advanced students engage in derivations, problem-solving techniques, and laboratory analysis. I encourage curiosity, questioning, and independent exploration to ensure deep understanding and long-term retention.
Outside teaching, I stay actively engaged with contemporary physics research, experimental methods, and scientific discussions. I integrate these insights to make lessons current, practical, and meaningful, connecting classroom knowledge with real-world applications. Witnessing students progress from hesitation to mastery, developing both conceptual clarity and analytical skills, is profoundly rewarding. My ultimate aim is to inspire independent thinkers who approach physics with confidence, curiosity, and intellectual curiosity, equipped to understand, explore, and appreciate the world scientifically.

Physics becomes engaging when learners can relate principles to observable phenomena. My lessons focus on mechanics, energy systems, thermodynamics, waves, electricity, magnetism, and problem-solving techniques. Beginners learn fundamental concepts with simple examples, hands-on experiments, and clear visual explanations. Intermediate learners develop stronger analytical skills, experiment interpretation, and multi-step problem-solving techniques. Advanced learners focus on derivations, exam strategies, lab analysis, and connecting concepts across topics.
Each lesson is structured to support steady progress, combining guided exercises, interactive discussions, and practical demonstrations. I emphasize understanding over memorization, helping students recognize patterns, connect ideas logically, and apply concepts in real-life situations. Exercises encourage independent thinking, critical reasoning, and curiosity. Students are motivated to hypothesize, question, and explore deeper scientific ideas, fostering a love for discovery and analytical reasoning.
Physics education develops logical thinking, systematic problem-solving, and confidence in approaching complex ideas. Students gain clarity in understanding forces, motion, energy, and fields while learning to tackle unfamiliar challenges effectively. My goal is to empower learners with practical skills, analytical mindset, and curiosity that extends beyond the classroom, creating confident thinkers capable of applying physics in both academics and everyday life.
