About Afia
I'm a Physics graduate from NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi, where I studied Modern Physics, Mathematical Physics, Solid State Physics, Nuclear Physics, and Atomic and Molecular Physics in depth. Teaching has been a consistent part of my journey — I began by helping university friends work through difficult topics like thermodynamics and nuclear physics, and saw their grades improve as a result. Beyond physics, I also create educational design content online, which has sharpened how I break down complex ideas for others to understand. I bring the same structured, problem-first approach to tutoring: clear explanations, real academic grounding, and a genuine investment in helping students actually understand the subject, not just memorize it for exams.

My approach is problem-first — rather than starting with theory, I work through past-paper and real-world problems together, and build the underlying concepts as we go. This comes from my own experience as a physics graduate, where I found that connecting equations to real-world scenarios made concepts stick far better than memorization. I first started teaching informally, helping friends during my degree work through difficult topics like thermodynamics and nuclear physics — that hands-on, problem-solving style is still how I teach.
Lessons run 60 minutes, giving enough time to work through a problem properly rather than rushing it.
I teach students at SSC, HSSC, and university level, focused on physics, thermodynamics, nuclear physics, and mathematics.
