About Joseph
When I started comprehensive school, I began receiving tutoring lessons for Maths and English. I received these lessons every week from the age of 11 to the age of 16 and I believe that the tutoring i received was the reason that these 2 subjects were my strongest. If I can give back some of the help I received at that time then I would be happy to!

Firstly, I will determine any particular topics that the student is having trouble with/need improvement. Asking the student to explain the procedure they use to solve the problem is important to see if they are using an effective method. Providing a set of examples, I will be reinforcing any correct procedures, while explaining why some procedures may be incorrect/less effective.
To ensure understanding of the topics covered in each lesson, I will have the student re-explain new procedures.
