About Mariane

Hi, I'm Mariane! I graduated magna cum laude from Adelphi University with a bachelor's degree in Physics and minors in Economics and Scientific Computing.

I have three years of tutoring and teaching experience, working with students of different ages and academic backgrounds. Teaching is something I genuinely enjoy, and I take the responsibility of supporting my students seriously.

I know that everyone learns at their own pace, and I always want my students to feel comfortable asking questions and expressing what they find difficult. I am patient, approachable, and committed to making each lesson a positive and productive experience.

About the lesson

I believe every student can succeed with the right guidance and support. My teaching approach focuses on helping students understand concepts through clear, step-by-step explanations, examples, and practice problems. I adapt my lessons to each student's needs and encourage them to ask questions freely.

I usually begin by identifying what the student needs help with. We review the concepts together, work through examples, and practice until the student feels comfortable solving problems independently.

I hold a bachelor's degree in Physics and have three years of tutoring and teaching experience. I have also designed and taught physics laboratory lessons, giving me experience developing lesson plans and explaining scientific concepts through hands-on activities.

I have tutored students in geometry, algebra, precalculus, calculus, classical mechanics, electricity, macroeconomics, microeconomics, and French grammar and vocabulary. I also offer support in other areas of mathematics, physics, and astronomy.

My lessons are available to middle school, high school, and college students. I am patient, attentive, and genuinely invested in helping each student make progress and gain confidence in their abilities.
