About Tessa
I am a physics tutor with 12 years of experience and a PhD in Theoretical Physics. My interest in physics began by exploring astronomy, natural phenomena, and the mathematical principles that describe the physical world.
I believe physics becomes enjoyable when students understand concepts through clear explanations and practical examples. My lessons focus on patience, structured guidance, and encouraging independent thinking so learners become confident problem solvers.
Outside teaching, I enjoy following scientific discoveries, reading physics research, and exploring developments in space science. These interests enrich my lessons and inspire students to appreciate the beauty and importance of physics.

My physics lessons focus on helping students understand why scientific laws work before solving mathematical problems. We begin with motion, forces, work, energy, and waves before progressing towards electricity, magnetism, optics, and modern physics. Every concept is explained through simple English, practical demonstrations, diagrams, and real-life examples that make learning easier. Students are encouraged to explore ideas, ask questions, and build confidence through thoughtful understanding.
As learners advance, we work on numerical calculations, graph analysis, experimental interpretation, scientific reasoning, and conceptual discussions. Lessons also include structured revision, practical applications, and examination strategies that improve both understanding and accuracy. Every class is tailored to the learner's level, allowing steady progress while strengthening confidence in solving challenging physics problems.
My objective is to help students develop strong scientific thinking and enjoy discovering how physics explains the universe. Every lesson builds analytical ability, logical reasoning, and confidence through engaging and meaningful learning.
