About Freida

I am in the final stages of completing my PhD in Physics, having already earned a Master's in Physics and a Bachelor's in Mathematics. Since 2011, I have been tutoring, driven by my passion to help students overcome challenges. Throughout my life, I've faced people telling me what I couldn't do, and I’ve made it a mission to prove them wrong.

I began tutoring because I understand the frustration of feeling limited, and I want to be the person who tells students, "You can." My goal is to guide them through their academic struggles and help them achieve success.

About the lesson

Hello, my name is Freida and I know what it's like to struggle through the material! This gives me unique insight into how I can help you avoid common pitfalls.

Teaching Method and Techniques:
I believe in tailoring my approach to the unique needs and learning styles of each student. Whether you're a visual learner, a hands-on enthusiast, or someone who thrives on discussions, I adapt my teaching methods to suit you. My goal is to create an engaging and interactive environment that fosters a deep understanding of the subject matter.

A Typical Lesson Plan:
Each lesson is meticulously planned to cover key concepts while allowing room for exploration and clarification. Here's a sneak peek into a typical lesson plan:

-Introduction (5 mins): Brief overview and connection to previous lessons.
-Core Concept Discussion (20 mins): In-depth exploration of the main topic, with interactive elements.
-Application Exercise (15 mins): Practical application of concepts through exercises or real-life scenarios.
-Q&A Session (10 mins): Addressing queries and reinforcing understanding.
-Conclusion and Homework Assignment (10 mins): Summarizing key takeaways and providing optional challenges for further practice.

What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor:
-Adaptability: I adjust my teaching style to match your preferences, ensuring a comfortable and effective learning experience.
-Real-world Relevance: I connect theoretical concepts to real-life applications, making learning more relatable and interesting.
-Patience and Encouragement: Learning is a journey, and I provide a supportive environment where mistakes are opportunities for growth.

Who the Lessons Are For:
My tutoring services are designed for students at various academic levels, from high school to college. Whether you're navigating challenging coursework, preparing for exams, or seeking additional support to enhance your understanding, I'm here to help. My expertise spans physics, math and data science, and I am committed to empowering students to achieve their academic goals.

Ready to embark on a learning adventure together? Feel free to reach out, and let's make your educational journey both enriching and enjoyable!
