About Moka

Hi! I’m Mokshitha, a Physics student at McGill University with a strong passion for math and science. I have previous tutoring experience and really enjoy helping students feel more comfortable and confident with subjects they may find challenging.

As a student myself, I understand how frustrating it can be when something just doesn’t click right away. I’m patient, approachable, and always willing to explain concepts in different ways until they make sense. I want my students to feel comfortable asking me anything, there are never any “stupid” questions!

Most importantly, I want lessons to feel encouraging and stress-free while still helping each student make real progress and become more confident in their abilities.

About the lesson

I love creating a friendly and comfortable space where students feel confident asking questions and learning at their own pace! I know that math and physics can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I focus on breaking difficult concepts down into simple, easy-to-understand steps.

Each lesson is personalized to the student and can include reviewing class material, working through examples together, practicing questions, or preparing for upcoming tests and exams. I’m very patient and always happy to explain something more than once or try a different approach until it clicks!

My lessons are great for elementary and middle school students who want extra support, more confidence, or simply a better understanding of math and physics.
