About Maeve

I am a third year undergraduate student at Northern Arizona University studying Physics. I have been tutoring, both privately and as a volunteer, for nearly 10 years, and my passion for getting others excited about math and science is what drives me to work with individuals and make learning feel accessible. I am always excited to get to know new students and help them achieve their academic goals!

About the lesson

I bring a student-focused approach to my one-on-one sessions and I believe meeting the student where they are at is the best way to foster learning and growth. I focus my lessons on helping the student engage with the material and create their own connections so that they not only learn the material in a way that makes sense to them, but build critical thinking and studying skills that will allow them to thrive in any field they find themselves.

-High School/College Physics up to University Physics 2
-High School Biology and Chemistry up to AP level
