About Isolde

My fascination with physics began with curiosity about the fundamental forces shaping the universe and everyday phenomena. This led me to pursue a B.Sc in Physics and an M.Sc in Applied Physics, equipping me with both theoretical knowledge and analytical skills. Over 12 years, I have taught students at all levels, helping them develop conceptual clarity, problem-solving ability, and confidence in applying physics concepts to both academic and real-world scenarios.

I emphasize a student-centered, engaging, and interactive approach. Many learners initially struggle with mathematical derivations, abstract reasoning, or experimental interpretation, so I provide step-by-step guidance, visual aids, and practical examples. This approach nurtures understanding, independent thinking, and confidence, ensuring learners gain mastery over both principles and problem-solving techniques.

Outside the classroom, I keep up with contemporary research, technological developments, and experimental advances in physics, integrating relevant insights into lessons. Witnessing students grow from uncertainty to competence, develop analytical thinking, and cultivate a genuine interest in physics is profoundly rewarding. Supporting learners to achieve both academic excellence and enduring curiosity in physics defines my teaching philosophy.

Physics lessons become engaging when students see the connection between theory and observable phenomena. My lessons cover classical mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, optics, waves, and modern physics concepts. I focus on conceptual understanding alongside mathematical application, creating an environment where learners feel comfortable exploring, questioning, and reasoning through complex principles. Each session combines clear explanations, visual aids, thought experiments, and problem-solving exercises, nurturing both confidence and intellectual curiosity.

I tailor lessons to individual levels. Beginners focus on basic laws, simple calculations, and intuitive understanding of physical concepts. Intermediate learners explore multi-step problems, derivations, experimental interpretations, and analytical reasoning. Advanced learners tackle complex problem-solving, theoretical derivations, real-world applications, and exam-oriented preparation. Each lesson integrates discussion, practice exercises, and conceptual reinforcement to solidify understanding, analytical skills, and independent reasoning.

Physics education also develops transferable skills like structured thinking, logical reasoning, and resilience in problem-solving. Students gain confidence in approaching unfamiliar problems, interpreting data, and applying concepts practically. Many learners find satisfaction as abstract concepts transform into intuitive understanding. My goal is to cultivate strong conceptual knowledge, analytical capability, and a lasting interest in physics, preparing students to excel academically and apply principles confidently in real-world situations.
