About Lyra

My love for physics began with a simple question about how things move and why. That question led me into years of study, exploration, and eventually teaching. Over the past ten years, I have dedicated myself to helping others understand the fascinating principles that govern our world. Teaching physics allows me to combine logic, curiosity, and imagination in a way that constantly inspires both my students and myself. I approach teaching as a guide and a mentor rather than just a lecturer. Every student is unique, and I take the time to understand their strengths, challenges, and learning style. With patience and clarity, I help them break down complex topics into manageable pieces. My goal is not just for students to memorise formulas, but to truly understand the concepts behind them. I value questions, discussions, and deep thinking as essential parts of the learning process. Outside the classroom, I stay engaged in scientific research, experimentation, and discovery through reading and hands-on projects. I believe that curiosity should never stop growing. Physics, to me, is the story of the universe told through logic and mathematics. Sharing that story with my students is not only my profession — it is my passion and purpose, and the source of immense personal fulfilment.

Physics is the science that explains how the universe works, from the smallest particles to the vast movement of planets. In my lessons, I strive to make these complex ideas understandable, fascinating, and meaningful. I create an atmosphere where students feel inspired to ask questions and explore the “why” behind every phenomenon. Through real-life examples, demonstrations, and clear explanations, abstract concepts are transformed into understandable and exciting discoveries. Students come to see physics not as a difficult subject, but as a window into the mechanics of the world around them. Beginners focus on building a strong understanding of basic principles such as motion, energy, and forces. Intermediate students explore electricity, magnetism, waves, and thermodynamics. Advanced learners dive into complex topics like modern physics, problem analysis, and applied mechanics. I also guide students in solving numerical problems, conducting calculations accurately, and improving their exam techniques. Lessons are designed in a step-by-step manner that reinforces understanding through practical application and repeated exposure to core ideas. The deeper purpose of my physics lessons is to spark curiosity and analytical thinking. Students develop not only academic confidence but an expanded worldview shaped by scientific understanding. As they begin to grasp how the laws of nature operate, they gain a powerful sense of connection to the universe. Many of my students go on to pursue science-related fields, but all leave with sharpened reasoning skills, increased discipline, and enhanced intellectual confidence that supports them in every area of life.
