About Ivy

My teaching approach in Physics is clear, patient, and focused on helping students truly understand how the universe works. I also teach related subjects like astronomy, celestial mechanics, cosmology basics, and the physics behind space exploration. In my lessons, I use phonetic accuracy and active listening to make sure every concept is heard and understood correctly. I believe in plenty of repetition to strengthen memory and build confidence.

I break down complex ideas into simple, manageable parts and explain them step by step. My students learn not only to solve problems but also to explain the concepts in their own words. I use real-world examples, thought experiments, and clear diagrams to bring the topics to life.

I am very good at supporting students who are inventors at heart or technology enthusiasts. I help refine their understanding of the cosmos and show how physics applies to their creative and technical interests. Together, we explore fascinating questions about the universe and find joy in discovering answers.

About the lesson

I am a passionate Physics tutor with over 7 years of experience and a BSc in Physics. I specialise in introducing curious high school and university students to the fascinating world of particle physics and the Standard Model. My lessons make concepts like quarks, leptons, bosons, and the four fundamental forces accessible and exciting. I use clear, detailed diagrams and creative analogies to help students visualise and understand subatomic interactions.

Over the years, I’ve worked with students eager to explore the frontiers of physics and ask big questions about the universe. Whether it’s understanding how particles acquire mass or why forces behave the way they do, I guide learners step by step. My approach emphasises not just memorising facts but building intuition about the invisible building blocks of reality.

Many of my students come to me with a deep interest in cutting-edge research and theoretical breakthroughs. I encourage this curiosity and provide insights into the ongoing discoveries in particle accelerators and cosmology. I also make sure every lesson is tailored to your level, helping you connect abstract ideas to real-world phenomena.
