About Oliver
I’m a professional plant-based chef with experience working in kitchens ranging from raw food to award-winning vegetarian cuisine. My approach to food is shaped by a background in art and a strong interest in nutritional health, seasonality and sustainability.
I specialise in contemporary vegan cooking, with a particular focus on fermentation and vegan nut cheeses, and enjoy exploring modern techniques and original flavour combinations. Alongside my work as a chef, I’m passionate about teaching and sharing practical skills in a clear, supportive way.
My aim is to help learners feel confident and inspired in the kitchen, whether they’re new to plant-based cooking or looking to expand their skills with more advanced techniques.

My classes are practical, creative and accessible, with a strong focus on learning by doing. I demonstrate techniques step by step, explain the reasons behind each process, and share tips that help learners understand why something works, not just how to copy it.
My teaching style is relaxed and supportive, encouraging questions, experimentation and curiosity throughout the session.
Lessons are taught live online and typically last 1.5 hours, allowing enough time for demonstrations, discussion and troubleshooting without feeling rushed. Sessions can be interactive cook-alongs or observation-based, depending on the learner’s preference.
I have worked as a chef in a wide range of professional kitchens, from raw food to award-winning vegetarian cuisine, and I regularly teach plant-based cookery to individuals and groups. Alongside my culinary work, my background in art and interest in nutritional health inform a thoughtful, creative approach to food.
My lessons are suitable for adults of all abilities, from complete beginners to more experienced home cooks looking to expand their skills in vegan cooking, fermentation and nut cheese. No prior experience is required – just curiosity and an interest in plant-based food.
