About Abby

I'm Abby, a graduate from Fordham with a degree in Biological Sciences and a minor in Psychology on the Pre-Med track! I am currently working towards going to medical school! I love biology more than I can express and I am hoping I can share that with you! I have taken AP Biology, AP Psychology, Intro to Biology I & II, Human Physiology, Genetics, Biopsychology, Research Methods, and Psychopathology, just to name a few. I really enjoyed these classes and I am confident that I can help you succeed!

About the lesson

As a student and tutor, I have learned ways to approach different topics from many different angles to help myself and others reach a deeper understanding. I know what it's like to feel stuck or unsure of how to study, so I'm here to help! I try out different strategies with each student to figure out what works best for both of us, like active recall, study sheets, and other techniques. I have a multifaceted view of biology with the help of my other pre-med classes, so I bring a range of perspectives to the table. I am offering my help up to a college level!

All first sessions are free! During this time I will ask you questions about your course and what you are looking to gain from our sessions to assess how I can help you moving forward.
