About Lyra
My teaching methodology for Singing is based on Flexibility, Creativity, Understanding, and Time Management. I want students to enjoy learning while also developing strong musical skills. Flexibility helps me personalise each session. I adjust the lesson plan depending on voice range, comfort, musical preferences, and learning pace. This ensures students feel relaxed and supported. Creativity helps students express themselves. I include tasks such as vocal storytelling, tone shaping, basic improvisation, and rhythmic variations. These creative exercises help students connect emotionally with the music. Understanding allows me to help students overcome challenges in a patient and positive way. Whether they struggle with breath control or stage confidence, I support them step-by-step. Time Management keeps the classes organised. Warm-ups, practice drills, song learning, and feedback are arranged in a clear order. This helps students grow steadily and track their improvement. I also teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Voice Care, and Rhythm Basics. My goal is to help every learner become a confident and expressive singer.

Picture yourself stepping on stage, microphone in hand, singing with confidence, control, and expression. My teaching methodology, based on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity (MCIC), is designed to make that possible. I emphasise motivation by setting achievable goals, celebrating milestones, and building students’ confidence for consistent practice and performance. Communication creates an interactive environment where students can ask questions, share ideas, and receive personalised feedback on tone, pitch, breath control, phrasing, and overall musicality. Integrity ensures honest guidance, disciplined practice, and a respectful, professional learning space. Creativity encourages students to explore different styles, improvise, and develop their unique voice. I also integrate music theory, rhythm, ear training, and stage presence for a well-rounded musical education. Lessons are tailored to each student’s skill level, goals, and interests, blending exercises, performance practice, and interactive activities. This methodology strengthens technical skills, expressive performance, confidence, and stage presence.
