- I can teach beginner to professional students! (I still consider myself a student in many ways)
- I was trained in ballet at the Alabama School of Fine Arts and Point Park University. My ballet training was ABT style ballet, so I typically teach ABT style ballet classes.
- Contemporary classes typically work in and out of the floor, with an emphasis of technique and safety always!
- Strength training throughout class.
- I always encourage students to re-think movement and find their own unique pathways and approach to a step.
- I have a bubbly personality, and a true passion for dance and movement. Sharing what I've learned, both as a professional and as a student is one of my favorite things!

Perfect! My now husband and I worked with Annie to do a first wedding dance routine for our upcoming wedding and Annie was so lovely and patient with us! She helped us come up with a beautiful dance and taught us in no time at all! She also got me to loosen up and help us focus on each other instead of my anxiety. Our first dance was beautiful, people were singing to our song and crying, and it was a really meaningful experience. Annie was also so sweet with our toddler who wanted to be involved while she was teaching. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. HIGHLY highly recommend!
Perfect! Annie helped me find a dance instructor who filled all my goals and needs. She is knowledgeable and connected. Whatever you need, whatever you seek to accomplish, she can help.
Perfect! Annie is an excellent teacher and an excellent person. We came to her, a bit disheveled ourselves, the Tuesday before our Saturday wedding. My (now wife :) and I were always able to "fake it" pretty well on the dance floor. She took ballet as a kid, and I am an amateur musician and athlete. But as all the wedding planning was coming to a head, we realized that faking it wasn't going to cut it as we would be the center of attention for our guests on the dancefloor.
Annie met us with a kindness and wisdom that far surpasses her years. She recognized our somewhat frazzled state, instantly put us at ease, and quickly diagnosed the situation to come up with a strategy we would be able to execute in our short practice timeline.
Beyond being a consummate professional through the booking process, and getting us a private room in a dance studio, Annie was an oasis of calm and cheerfulness in a hectic time for us.
We had one two-hour lesson with Annie, where she taught us a great foundational step, and coached us through some moves, including a "twist and kiss" a ball-step and a dip. We practiced for about 20minutes a day after that on our own, which was excellent bonding time for us and I have to say....
We ended up nailing it! We were an absolute hit. I cannot thank Annie enough for turning something stressful into a true source of joy, which is what dance is all about. In hindsight we would happily have paid double or triple her rate for what we received.
Thank you Annie!- I had the privledge of teaching Peter and his partner a few days before their wedding. They’re lovely, natural movers! Congrats Peter and Kait :)See the response Annie :

Perfect! Annie did an amazing job choreographing my wedding dance. Neither of us were great dancers but she made it really easy and fun for us to learn and it looks great.
