About Steve
Sound activist and polymath Steve Noah has deep roots in Chicago's underground techno & house scene since the era of info-line rave parties.
Steve Noah has spent over a decade sewing deep and meaningful roots in the "Midwest rave triangle" of America. He holds a uniquely storied career spanning from younger years playing the latter era of "info-line parties" in the early 2010s, to holding down long sets at Smart Bar and Podlasie Club in current times. Steve embodies a "global underground" mentality and an ingrained revolutionary ethos where in his words "the dancefloor is my classroom". This approach underpins his approach to DJing and night curation.
Over the last 4 years, Steve has been doing important work as the City Manager for Chicago at Resident Advisor, where he has continually supported and preserved the region's legendary dance music history that molded him while elevating its raw ingenuity. He is also the co-founder of the outfit Night Logistics, through which he has hosted and produced club nights and parties featuring international forward-minded selectors and live performers alongside a myriad of likeminded local and regional players.
