About Danqing
I am a volunteer Chinese teacher in Rooty Hill High School, Sydney. I have been working in public high schools in NSW for two years. Before the two years full time job, I had some other Chinese teaching experience for international adult students in universities of China. I got my Phd degree form Beijing Normal University and Master degree form Shandong Normal University. My study area is Linguistic and Teaching Chinese.

I usually teach my students Chinese with different topics or using textbooks. For beginners, correct pronunciation and basic conversations should be focused on. I suggest all my students learn Chinese characters, because they reflect Chinese culture and learning characters can open students' mind besides alphabetic writing. For continuers, I would show more Chinese grammar and structures/ stories of characters to students. Meanwhile, I'd like to introduce Chinese culture to students in the whole learning process. No matter what motivation you choose to learn Chinese, I can design a suitable lesson for you.
