About Dan

Hi! Professional Comic Book Illustrator and certified Social Studies teacher I've been drawing professionally for over 27 years, creating comics and graphic novels for publication. Clients include Image Comics and Z2 Comics, licensed illustrations for Marvel, DC Comics, AMC's The Walking Dead, Star Wars, and LOTR, illustrations for authors, RPG companies, and editorial and independent comic publishers. I am the creator of the crime fiction comic book series VALENTINE, which is now in film development with Patriot Pictures. My success in crowdfunding is a testament to my ability to deliver on projects. I've successfully crowdfunded two graphic novels, demonstrating my commitment to bringing my creative visions to life and engaging with a supportive community of fans and backers. I specialize in illustration and storytelling, figure drawing, portraits, backgrounds, perspective, and comic creation. I've authored three instructional books for Barron's Educational Book, published in the U.S. and internationally in four languages. Certified license in Social Studies in Massachusetts and Connecticut for grades 5-12. Tutoring support for college prep and assistance with World History to Government and Civics exams. Master's in Education-Fitchburg State University Bachelor's in Illustration--The School of Visual Arts
