About Rachel

Dance is the core of my being. I’ve trained with companies such as Alvin Ailey, Frank Chaves Chicago Jazz Theater, Martha Graham. I’ve traveled doing multiple off Broadway shows, danced on-screen, trained with the dancing with the stars professionals, and so much more. I’m well versed in many dance styles and love to keep it exciting. I’ve been a dance teacher for 15 plus years and love to see my students succeed and share all the knowledge I’ve acquired over the years. If you choose to train with me I will give you 100 percent of my effort in helping you with all your dance needs, choreography included. It’s my passion and each person I’ve worked with inspires me to be a better teacher.

About the lesson

My lessons include specific technical training catered to what each student is looking to focus on. I am very intent on listening to my students and pushing them to succeed. I like to focus on areas of the body that help accomplish certain moves . Lessons always starts with a warm up that is planned out before class and ties into what we will be working on that day, with a small amount of strength training as well. After that we love on to the dancing and sequences that allow the dancer to grow. I am very personable and love to make each and every person I work with feel extremely comfortable and connected with me. Anyone can sign up from beginners to advanced, or if you are looking for choreography for an event, in also your girl. I look forward to working with everyone!
