About Lini

I am an experienced ESL tutor with 12 years of teaching High School and College students. I have taught approximately 150–200 students, helping them overcome challenges in grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking to achieve both academic and personal growth.

A milestone I am proud of is helping students who initially lacked confidence in English become independent learners and strong communicators. Witnessing their progress academically and personally is deeply rewarding and inspires me to continually refine my teaching approach.

My teaching style is structured, patient, and practical. I focus on grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking using exercises, discussions, and real-life examples to make lessons engaging and meaningful. I adapt each lesson to the student’s pace, goals, and learning style to ensure steady and lasting improvement.

I foster a positive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, make mistakes, and practise regularly. I emphasise consistent effort, celebrate achievements, and help students build self-confidence alongside academic skills.

Teaching ESL allows me to make a lasting impact on students’ academic and personal development. My goal is to help learners communicate effectively, succeed academically, and enjoy the process of learning English.

About the lesson

I teach ESL using a real-life, motivating, and adaptive approach. Lessons include case studies and practical examples to make English meaningful and easy to apply. Motivation is key—I encourage students to set goals, stay engaged, and celebrate achievements. Problem-solving exercises develop critical thinking and allow learners to use English effectively in everyday situations.

Integrity guides my teaching—I provide honest feedback and maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful environment. Flexibility allows me to adjust lessons to each student’s pace, style, and learning needs. Besides ESL, I teach grammar, writing, reading, and conversational skills. My aim is to help students gain confidence, independence, and practical English skills they can use every day.
