When I teach physics I try to connect it to what the students are learning in other classes. Science is often taught in a disconnected form. I have had students who have taken organic chemistry and did not know that the gasoline that they buy for their car is a mixture of the chemicals that they have studied in class. I would like to work with students to do physics experiments with household objects.
