About Laura
I'm passionate about education and helping young people realise what they’re capable of. During my psychology degree, I became especially interested in how we learn, and how confidence and mindset play a huge role in academic success. That inspired me to start tutoring — I love being able to make a real difference, whether that’s helping a student finally ‘get’ something they’ve been stuck on, or seeing their confidence grow over time. As a book-obsessed English fan, I’m always happy to dive into a good story, analyse characters or unpack tricky texts. I believe English is about more than just ticking boxes — it’s about developing your voice, your curiosity, and your ability to express yourself clearly and confidently. I bring that same energy and enthusiasm into every session. I'm especially drawn to working with students who feel anxious or overwhelmed, because I know how much a kind, encouraging approach can completely change their experience of learning.

I’m a friendly, patient, and understanding tutor offering online English lessons for KS2, KS3, GCSE and A-Level students.
