About Sonya
I have been tutoring students K-12 for three years in STEM subjects and English. Over the years, I have worked one-on-one with over 40 students, and have seen strong upward trends in each student. I am a devoted researcher, with a focus on preventing degeneration due to Alzheimer's, and am a software engineering intern at Iksula. This year, I will be a second-year Computational Neuroscience Major and Computer Science minor at Boston University. I truly enjoy tutoring and engaging with students, and love to do Bollywood dance in my free time!

I base each class off of the student's needs. It is important that I understand my student's academic background, and see previous tests to see where the gaps are. As an instructor, I like to develop a rapport to ensure that students are comfortable being open about asking for help. I read the course syllabi, create custom study-plans, and offer practice tests and quizzes.

Details
For K-5 students, my price is $30 an hour, for 6th-8th, it is $35 an hour, for 9-12th, it is $45. For college students, it is $50 an hour.
