About Ella
While I may be young, I am confidently qualified. As a junior in college, I am taking high-level classes and pursuing a double major in English and Education. I am a member of the Honors College, prioritizing academic excellence. I have kept almost perfect grades through high school and college, and scored a 31 on my ACT. On the English and Reading portion? A 34 and a 36. Those are my academic credentials… now let’s talk about the rest of it. The people portion of learning. You need a teacher who’s more than a teacher - someone who is also a friend. I have been a camp counselor, a youth group intern, a club recruiter, and a woman’s chaplain. I know how to actually connect - not just teach. Let’s learn together!!

English has always been my “thing” - but that’s not the case for everyone. Droning teachers, hard classes, trying to balance everything and plan for the future at the same time? It’s tough! As a college student, I understand your struggle a lot more than you might believe. That’s where I come in to help. As someone a little closer to your age, I am able to relate and teach in ways that will be more beneficial for you. I’ve got a bubbly personality, the proper credentials, and a desire to help you love learning. Let’s learn together!

Having had the privilege to teach and mentor Ella, I know how well versed she is in English and how capable she is of working well and torturing others. Throughout high school, Ella excelled in English, and challenged herself regularly with Honors, AP, and Dual Credit classes. She helped tutor peers and offered thorough feedback when peer reviewing assignments. Ella is kind, patient, bright, knowledgeable, empathetic, and focused. I know Ella is capable of helping your reach your goals and highly recommend her!
