About Jaya

Hello! I’m a native English speaker, CELTA qualified and PGCE certified with QTS, and I have over 5 years of experience teaching English online to adults and teens. I am also a former Primary School Teacher, so I know how to make lessons clear, engaging, and tailored to each student’s needs.

I specialise in online general English, conversation, exam preparation (Cambridge, IELTS, LanguageCert), business English, and job interview support. My lessons are friendly, flexible, and interactive, designed to help you build confidence, improve your English skills, and reach your personal goals.

Whether you want to practise speaking, prepare for an exam, or improve your professional English, I will create lessons that suit your level, learning style, and objectives. My aim is to make learning English enjoyable, effective, and relevant to your life.

I offer friendly and flexible online English lessons designed to help you learn at your own pace and reach your goals.

How I Teach:

Lessons are practical and interactive, focusing on speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

I use conversation, grammar practice, and vocabulary activities to make learning enjoyable.

For exams (Cambridge, IELTS, LanguageCert) or professional English, I focus on strategies and real-life practice, such as job interviews or business situations.

Lessons are tailored to your level and learning style, so you get the support you need.

Lessons:

Typically 60 minutes, with flexible options if needed.
Lessons will take place on Zoom, using high quality materials and resources, chosen personally for the student.

My Experience and Qualifications:

CELTA qualified, PGCE with QTS, and former Primary School Teacher.

Over 5 years of experience teaching English online to adults and teens.

I specialise in general English, conversation, exam preparation, business English, and job interview support.
