About Holly

I’m a dedicated maths teacher with nearly 10 years of experience, including time as a Head of Maths. I currently teach in secondary school and also work as a GCSE exam marker, giving me expert insight into how to achieve top marks. I’ve successfully taught students across 11+, KS3, GCSE, Functional Skills, and A-Level, helping them build confidence and reach their full potential.

About the lesson

Every student learns differently, and that’s why I make sure my lessons work for you. We’ll focus on the areas you find tricky, fill any gaps, and build your confidence step by step. As a former Head of Maths and an experienced exam board marker, I know what examiners are looking for and will share insider tips to help you maximise marks. I track your progress week by week, so we can clearly see improvements and celebrate successes. If a topic has caused problems in the past, we’ll revisit it in future sessions to ensure retention and long-term understanding. My lessons combine essential practice for fluency with deep problem-solving to make maths click. Over the years, my students have made exceptional progress – many moving up sets, exceeding their targets, and achieving top grades. My goal is to help you feel prepared, confident, and maybe even enjoy learning maths!
