About James
I am a seventh year Maths teacher at a secondary school looking at providing some tutoring for any and all Maths GCSE topics. I have just taken through my 3rd year 11 class with a record 4+ % - I have access to lots of past papers and mark schemes to give a greater insight into how marks are awarded.

I follow Rosenshine's principles when it comes to structuring lessons, making sure that each new piece of information is delivered in small steps with regular checking of understanding. I also use a variety of diagnostic questioning to get a better understanding of which misconceptions are present
