About Elisha
Hello there,
My name is Elisha, I studied Paediatric Nursing at De Montfort University graduating in 2016 with Honors. Since that time I have spent 5 years working in general Paediatrics and specialising in Paediatric Critical Care levels 1 & 2. I am currently working as a Charge/Ward Sister (band 6). I have a broad experience in many areas of Paeds nursing having undertaken specialist courses, I am trained in the following areas; EPALS, Critical Care level 1&2, Mentoring & assessing, Leadership & Management. I also work as a bleep holder and carry a resus + bed manager bleep and so I am able to offer a clear overview of what being a senior Paeds Nurse entails.

I will base my classes around the practical aspects of Paeds Nursing, I can teach students about common childhood illnesses, the treatments we use regularly, eg. o2 therapies, medicines management, nutrition and hydration in a infant/child, bed management & ABCDE approach to resus. I am happy to listen to what a student would like to learn about and I am able to tailor a session around that.
