About Sasha

About me

I’m a qualified solicitor, currently 1 year PQE and working in a Corporate & Commercial department at a law firm in Hampshire. I have experience advising businesses on a range of corporate and commercial matters, as well as previous experience in Family Law.

I achieved a First Class degree in Law (LLB) at Solent University in Southampton, before completing my Master’s in Law and LPC at the University of Law in Guildford, achieving Distinctions in both.

During my studies, I successfully secured two training contracts. After securing my first training contract, I ultimately decided not to take up the position because the firm offered limited opportunities in the areas of law I wanted to pursue. I subsequently secured a second training contract, which I completed before qualifying as a solicitor.

Having recently been through the journey from law student to trainee solicitor and then qualification myself, I understand how daunting each stage can feel, particularly when trying to work out how to apply what you learn academically to the reality of working in a law firm.

Why I want to teach

I really enjoy helping others understand the law and, just as importantly, helping them develop the confidence to apply it.

I remember how difficult it could be to know what to learn, how to structure an answer and what law firms were actually looking for when I was studying and applying for training contracts. I therefore want to provide the kind of practical, supportive guidance that I would have found helpful myself.

Whether you’re struggling with a particular area of law, preparing for exams, applying for training contracts or adjusting to life as a trainee, my aim is to make things feel more manageable and give you the confidence to progress.

I take a friendly and individual approach to teaching, adapting each session to your goals, level of experience and learning style. My sessions are designed to be a judgement-free space where you can ask questions, work through difficult topics and build your confidence at your own pace.

I’m a qualified solicitor with an LLB, Master’s in Law and LPC, and practical experience in commercial and corporate law. I offer friendly, personalised online tuition for law students and aspiring solicitors.
