About Katy
I am a qualified Social sciences teacher with a degree in Psychology. I have been teaching for nine years and have experience with AQA, OCR, IB, AICE and Edexcel exam boards.
I have been examining for a range of exam boards for six years and continue to strengthen my understanding of what the exam requires of students.
I offer both in person and online tuition, I find both are beneficial for students learning and I have found that they both allow student to excel.

I create bespoke lessons tailored to your needs, focussing on improving your exam skills and knowledge of the subject. I aim to adapt lessons based on the students areas of improvement and help to guide them through their academic year.
My success rate for:
2022-2023 was 100% pass rate with 40% achieving A-A* and all students achieving their target grade or above.
2023-2024 was 100% pass rate with all students achieving their target grade or above.
2024-2025 was 98% pass rate with 40% A*-A grades, all my students improved by 2+ grades.

My tutoring services provide 1 hour of tuition alongside homework, personalised marking that provides detailed feedback to support the student.
I am also able to work through their teachers marking to help with understanding as well as supporting with homework tasks where needed.
