About Shathika

"I want to become a teacher so that I can make a real difference in children's lives. I take the task of developing young people into kind, thoughtful, and contributing adults very seriously. I have always been so grateful to my teachers and the educational system for making me the person that I am today.

About the lesson

I start with topics the students are comfortable with and move gradually toward more complex areas as their confidence builds. I use questions and examples to check to understand continually. I don't lecture students or ask them to memorize things. Nor do I do the student's homework for them!
