About Me
I am a graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science and a former college basketball player. Balancing the demands of collegiate athletics with a rigorous academic schedule taught me discipline, time management, and consistency. These qualities now shape the way I approach tutoring.
I am passionate about guiding students in subjects I have personally taken and performed well in, particularly biology and chemistry. Having worked through these courses myself, I understand the challenges students face and how to approach them effectively. I plan to attend medical school, and my continued dedication to science motivates me to stay sharp and engaged in these subjects every day.
As a tutor, I prioritize professionalism, preparation, and patience. I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and steadily improving. The mindset I developed as both a science graduate and college athlete, focused on accountability, structure, and persistence, is the same approach I encourage in my students.

About My Lessons
As a biology and chemistry tutor, I focus on helping students truly understand the material rather than just memorizing it. My goal is to make complex topics feel manageable by breaking them down into clear, simple steps and connecting them to real examples.
A typical lesson starts with a quick review to strengthen previous material, followed by focused work on a specific topic. We go through explanations together, practice problems step-by-step, and I encourage students to talk through their thinking so they gain confidence. I always leave time to summarize key points and suggest practice for continued improvement.
I work with high school and college students in general biology, general chemistry, and other introductory science courses. Whether you need help keeping up in class, preparing for exams, or building a stronger foundation, I tailor each session to your goals and learning style.
What sets me apart is my ability to explain difficult concepts in a clear, patient, and supportive way. I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and developing a real understanding.
