About Jillian

I have a BSc. in Neuroscience from the University of Lethbridge. I have tutoring experience with 15+ clients from grade 4 - university throughout Edmonton and area. I've held a variety of executive council positions within several organizations, giving me more experience in creating and presenting concepts to people of different ages/levels of knowledge.

About the lesson

My default teaching method is to sit down one-on-one and provide lots of visual cues, but I prefer to curate lessons based on what fits best with the client, be it tactile examples, auditory cues, etc.. The first lesson will be dedicated to finding out exactly where in the curriculum needs the most attention and how best to present the material, and covering some examples. The lessons afterward will be structured into three parts; first, we will warm-up by covering previous material via quiz, then going over the material for that day - asking questions about the material and making sure the client is comfortable with the concepts, then ending with custom homework made on the material covered for additional practice.
