About Samira

Hi, I am a recent school leaver, beginning my degree in BSc Mathematics with finance at a Russell group university. I have completed my A levels in Biology, Maths and Economics, with an excellent academic record and a strong set of skills which have been acquired through a range of extra-curricular projects. For my GCSEs I achieved three 8s (A*), one 9 (A**) and three 7s (As), with Maths and English both at 8 (A*). At the moment, I am looking to tutor kids who need help or tuition at GCSE level or any years below. Previously I have mentored and tutored kids in younger years as well as currently working in a primary school, in helping with homework, exam practice and how to revise for certain subjects. I also have many younger siblings whom I have tutored for the 11 plus and SATS. I also love solving maths problems and I would definitely try to encourage that in my students as well. Having completed my GCSEs I would also be able to pass down many tips and advice for revising as well as preparing for exams.

About the lesson

During my lessons, I will teach you maths with logic as well as building your problem-solving abilities by comparing maths problems to real-life situations. And I will also try to keep the lesson as fun as possible, in order to keep the students engaged throughout the lesson.
