About Andrew M
I am a recent graduate of the University of Wolverhampton, graduating with a 2:1 BA (Hons) degree in War Studies. At university, I specialised in both geopolitical and military history, with a particular interest in the First World War, the interwar years and the Second World War. Though I am relatively new to the tutoring field, I offer a modern, comprehensive guide and tutor about both general European history (with a specific emphasis on Western European history post-1900), and modern geopolitics (including Russian geopolitics since 1847).

I primarily give History lessons up to and including GCSE level of study. I can tutor AS or A2-Level students if necessary.
My teaching method is geared towards an interactive lesson involving both the student and I tackling various topics that will prove vital in their field of study. For example, if the student is having a hard time understanding the ramifications of a certain event, I will help the student by talking through and illustrating how said event had an impact on the course of history - how the Great Depression in 1929 led to the rise of the NSDAP in Germany, for example. I will encourage students to ask questions and stimulate debate between tutor and student, and I will most importantly treat the student as my equal in academia.
