About Liam
I have been tutoring math for about 6 years, and english for 2 years. My priority is making sure students understand the concepts and motivation behind them, rather than just vomiting words and numbers out onto a page. I am also a student undergraduate at the University of California, San Diego. I strive to make lessons as fun and engaging as possible!

My philosophy of teaching is that a singular, standardized cirriculum is not efficient for learning. A teacher/tutor should be able to connect with the student and identify their strengths and weaknesses, and structure lessons according to said traits.
I focus on introducing concepts and motivating them with examples and easy-to-grasp ideas. Math and english can be daunting to people who don't understand the topics, but this apprehension can beeasily overcome, and I know how to make learning these subjects both easy and fun.
