About Patty

I started tutoring while I was earning my Math degree. I hold a BS in Math. I recently retired from Colorado Mesa University where I taught Algebra. I have had great success in helping students overcome 'Math Phobia'. Most students just need to hear an explanation in a different way. There is more than one way to solve most math problems. I can help you find the method that works for you.

About the lesson

My name is Patty. I enjoy sharing my love for math. My favorite moment in teaching is when a student understands something that is new to them. Lessons can be online or in person. I can create lesson plans for students who are being homeschooled or simply help with homework. I like to demonstrate how to solve a math problem, then present a similar problem for my student to solve. We can cover as many examples needed for the student to become comfortable with the topic.
