About Lynn
I went to college (years and years ago!) at UCLA and UCSD and got my degree in Biology and my masters in Education. I was hired to teach Biology straight out of college, and I taught that as well as advanced Biology and Chemistry for the rest of my career. I loved my students and I'm happy to say that they loved me back. I love to interact with students with respect and humor. I retired some years ago, and I miss those interactions. I hope that I can be a good teacher for some of the young people that could use a bit of help!

Each lesson will begin with a review of the prior related lessons and the connections to the current lesson. I have an ability to explain very complex material in straightforward, clear ways, which was a reason that my students were successful and enjoyed my classes. When one approach does not work, I can modify and try different approaches until we find the right one for you. At the end of the lesson we will review and link the material to practical land hands-on activities whenever possible. This final step helps tremendously in remembering and applying the material.
I specialize in high school sciences, but can also work with middle school students.
