About Elizabeth

I am a retired certified organic beef and grain farmer, which lends itself to an exciting business perspective, realizing the need for specific vocabulary. My passion surrounds words- writing, speaking, listening, and communicating well to be understood. English is not just about grammar and vocabulary rules, but finding the best word for communicating effectively concerning the listener. My native language is US English and being raised in the South and spending the past forty years in the North, my accent is pretty neutral. My students appreciate punctuality as I keep to a timely schedule as well.

About the lesson

I specialize in teaching older students desiring to improve their English vocabulary and speaking skills for self-improvement and career opportunities globally, including in the USA.

My technique is tailored to the student and their needs and meeting their goals in a timely fashion.
After a student evaluation, the learner would help decide the direction and style of learning they prefer: blended mwith technology ( as in reading articles online tuned to their interests; then discussed), a standard format of pre-set lesson plans, or specific business English needs ( particular job areas such as tourism, marketing, engineering,medicine, etc)
