About Shanyn
I am a graduate of Ringling College of Art and Design, where we learned figure drawing, perspective drawing, color theory, Autodesk MAYA, Zbrush, the entire Adobe suite, Unreal Engine, and many more skills. I was able to teach digital 3D modeling to high school aged people during Ringling's PreCollege program, and I was also a tutor to other students during the school year. In my spare time I was the founder and president of the Art History Club and I am well versed in historical methods and how those methods relate to contemporary artists. I hope to pursue graduate school and eventually teach art history in combination with my own skills as a 3D artist.

I can help with high school level art, especially with prepping a college application-level portfolio.
We will start by looking at some of the work you have already, in your portfolio and/or sketchbook to evaluate how you approach creating art.
We can discuss the principles and elements of art in relation to your work, as well as looking back to the old masters and how their approach improved their art.
We will work together in digital or traditional methods and hold one-on-one critiques on mini assignments as well as works meant to bolster your portfolio. This can be traditional or digital.
