About Aditi

Hi, I’m Aditi—a UC Berkeley EECS major with hands-on experience in machine learning research, software engineering, and teaching. I've contributed to advanced projects at Berkeley AI Research, Merck, and Space Sciences Lab, where I’ve built models for everything from drug discovery to autonomous rovers. My technical background is matched by a passion for education—I’ve taught over 100 students as a computer science course assistant, mentored peers through the EECS Honor Society, and tutored math, physics, and programming at multiple levels. As a tutor with a background in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at UC Berkeley, and prior experience in AI/ML research and software engineering, I bring both academic depth and real-world perspective to my teaching. Prep: I will reach out before our session, ask specifically what you need help with, construct a lesson plan, and compile resources to make sure I am prepared for the lesson. 1. Quick Diagnostic (5 mins): Review previous material or assess starting point. 2. Core Concept Focus (15–20 mins): Explain key ideas, using visuals or examples where needed. 3. Interactive Practice (20–25 mins): Work through problems or projects together. 4. Wrap-up (5–10 mins): Summarize key takeaways, set goals, and provide follow-up resources or exercises. For computer science lessons, I often integrate small coding challenges or debug sessions.
