About Bongiwe
My name is Bongiwe and I am a student in STEM specifically computer and electronics engineer. I would like to give you a back ground of myself and how I started this journey of mine in science briefly.
Growing up I did not know what I really loved doing but I knew that I was good in numbers , with that I decided to study science in high school and I was good at it. With that I got motivated to pursue further studies and become part of the women in STEM and I can gladly say that has been working so well for me.
All this hard work was because of the Maths and science programme I was attending in high school it made everything simpler for me and I enjoyed every ounce of it because I know science can be a lot tricky but that’s how I decided that I’d like to give out my help to students that are fascinated by science and are scared to go for it because of the stigma it has which may be that “it’s hard” or “you have to be smart to do it” which all of that is not true and I will be your maths and science guardian angel

I specialise in teaching maths and science specifically because I’ve been here before and I know that one of the teachings you get from learning mathematics and science is critical thinking in your everyday life which has to start at an early stage but it’s never too late to get the knowledge.
To resonate with smartness, one has to master the skill of critical thinking. Studying the topics of mathematics and science would encourage critical thinking, scientific reasoning, analyzing, evaluating and the ability to solve quantifiable problems.
Therefore with my lessons we get to work on the skills and build a solid foundation for the future especially if you are looking forward to pursue a career in STEM (science, technology, engineering and Mathematics)
