About Eleanor
I am a PhD student at Imperial College London working in a biology based field. During my PhD I have also been working at a graduate teaching assistant for undergraduates completing Biomedical degrees.
I have previous experience as a science academic teaching assistant at one of the top schools in London so have experience supporting students with their studies on a daily basis.
My role involved supporting students in Yr7 to Yr 11 both in their lessons and after school for extra contact time for struggling students, breaking down complex content into more easily digestable ideas to enhance learning.
Having had tutoring with topics I found difficult at school I know how big of a difference having someone to help you along that way can be. This is why I want to help other students feel their best about their studies and have more confidence going into exams.

I will adapt teaching techniques to each student so that they can get the most out of each lesson.
I am happy to provide detailed lessons on specific topics, go over homework or exam prep, whatever you feel like you need help with!
Each lesson will be an hour but can be flexible if needed.
I have a First Class BSc from the University of Bristol in Biological Sciences and a MSc from UCL in Infection and Immunity.
I currently work as a technician in a research lab at UCL with one of my main roles being teaching and supervision of BSc, MSc and PhD students during their projects.
I am offering Biology lessons in all topics at GCSE level and A-Level as well as GSCE physics and chemistry. I also offer exam technique and practice sessions.
