About Kathryn
My teaching experience has enabled me to fully immerse myself in the English curriculum and I have dedicated myself to ensuring that all students I support are provided with the right tools for success.

I have 10+ years experience of teaching English Language and Literature at KS3 and KS4. I also have experience in a pastoral role and am therefore aware of how best to support students academically whilst being mindful of their mental health and well-being. I have experience as an exam marker and therefore an in depth understanding of how best to approach GCSE papers.
Lessons are flexible and can focus on revision of one specific skill or text, or can be part of a bigger picture which focuses on building skills, confidence, developing knowledge or preparing for exams.
