About Iris
I have an MSc in Applied Physics and over 4 years of experience teaching students from various science and engineering backgrounds. My passion lies in making optics and wave physics engaging and easy to understand. We explore light, sound, and electromagnetic waves through detailed, visual lessons. Ray tracing and optical system analysis are core parts of my sessions. Students learn how interference and diffraction apply to real-world imaging and communication technologies. My teaching blends theory, simulation, and practical application. I’ve worked closely with learners in photonics, telecommunications, and optical engineering. Lessons are tailored to individual goals and interests. I focus on clarity, consistency, and creative problem-solving. Physics is not just equations — it’s exploration. Through guided practice, students gain confidence in both math and reasoning. Each concept connects to modern innovation. Understanding waves is a journey through the very patterns of nature and perception.

My Physics teaching method focuses on building understanding from the ground up. I help students prepare for AP Physics exams through structured lessons that mix theory with practice. We start by breaking down core principles like motion, energy, and waves. Then, we apply them through targeted drills and sample test questions. I teach problem-solving techniques that improve accuracy under time pressure. My practice sessions are interactive and feedback-driven. I emphasize test strategy and pacing to help students perform confidently. I’ve worked with learners who are both analytical and creative — mathematicians and sci-fi enthusiasts alike. My approach makes Physics approachable and fun. We discuss how concepts connect to real-world technology and discoveries. I focus on clarity, consistency, and confidence. Each session moves students one step closer to mastery. With the right mindset and method, high scores become achievable and enjoyable.
