The courses are designed for individual or small groups of dedicated students, and I aim to foster a collaborative environment where we can learn together through discussions.
Basic Course: Students in the age group 10-16 years may apply. Topics to be covered include algebra (mostly classical and some modern) and its interaction with number theory, calculus of one variable, introductory combinatorial theory, matrix theory, and a lot more.
Intermediate & Advanced Courses: Aimed at college undergraduates focusing on real analysis, group theory, advanced linear algebra, topology of metric spaces, further general topology, complex analysis, functional analysis, commutative rings, field theory, and algebraic combinatorics.
A significant part of these courses will revolve around the theories that shape mathematics. Think of the problems as destinations, and the theories as stepping stones (or sometimes vice versa). Reading authentic classical and modern books is a must, and much emphasis will be placed on understanding foundational texts.
The exact days, dates, and timings for the groups, as well as the courses offered, will be determined based on the number of interested applicants and their levels. The goal is to be as accommodating as possible for all serious enthusiasts.
Some remuneration, of course, would be expected for participation, if comfortable.
Serious inquiries only.
